I had supper at this lovely little restaurant with my wife on 18 March. We are both lovers of France, and especially Paris. Montmartre as a whole represents much of the best that is Paris and there are many good places to eat and drink. But Zebre a Montmartre stands out because its welcoming, lively, slightly eccentric atmosphere combines its obvious objective to serve its locality (real people live and work in Montmartre!) with easy accessibility for tourists and other visitors.
The menu is traditional for this kind of restaurant, and everything is cooked to a very high standard of freshness and flavour. The wine offer is entirely French regional and served in carafes, a tradition that we particularly welcome.
The staff were friendly, efficient, fun to chat to (in French and English) and didn’t rush to send us back to our hotel!
